The Kop van Deelen is a former military site of 26 hectares in the Municipality of Ede. Both the terrain and the buildings are national monuments. After the buildings were built as barracks, the site was used as a youth institution. Until the site is developed into a new residential care location, it will be used as a reception location for 341 labor migrants and 200 refugees in the coming years.
Rosewood provided the temporary infill so that cash flow could be created to fund the area development over the next 10 years. Rosewood is responsible for area’s development into a residential care landscape in this green heart of the Netherlands.
