Rosewood Acquires Residentie Wilgenhof in Eindhoven
Rosewood Investment Managers has acquired the Wilgenhof Residence in Eindhoven. With this acquisition, Rosewood further expands its portfolio of social real estate with a residential facility that combines independent living with access to care.
On September 30, 2026, Rosewood Investment Managers acquired the Wilgenhof Residence on Schalmstraat in Eindhoven from Lone Star Real Estate. With this acquisition, Rosewood once again adds a property to its growing portfolio of community-oriented real estate. The investment strategy focuses on buildings that play a meaningful role in people’s daily lives and contribute to a future-proof society.
A unique residential location in Eindhoven
The Wilgenhof residential complex consists of 39 apartments spread across five floors and is located in the Stratum neighborhood of Eindhoven. The complex is situated in a quiet location behind St. George’s Church, within walking distance of the Stadswandelpark and the Parktheater.
Right next to the complex is the Wilgenhof residential and care facility operated by WoonincPlusVitalis. This allows residents to live independently while having amenities and care nearby. The combination of a pleasant living environment, independence, and proximity to care gives the Wilgenhof Residence a unique position within Rosewood’s portfolio.
Investing in Social Value
Rosewood is building a portfolio of real estate with a clear social purpose. In doing so, the focus is not only on the quality and location of the buildings, but also on the role they will play in the long term. After all, real estate forms the foundation for essential services in the areas of housing, healthcare, and education.
Eugen Kool, managing partner of Rosewood Investment Managers, explains:
“We are consciously building a real estate portfolio with social significance. Buildings that are not only valuable today but also fulfill an important function in society over the long term. Residentie Wilgenhof is a great example of this. The combination of independent living, a beautiful location, and proximity to healthcare makes this a special place to live and a logical addition to our portfolio.”
With the acquisition of Residentie Wilgenhof, Rosewood is taking the next step in the further development of its social infrastructure portfolio—a portfolio that brings together various functions and in which real estate contributes to places where people can live, learn, grow up, and receive care.
The Foundation of Tomorrow
Rosewood believes that financial returns and social value can reinforce one another. Based on this conviction, the organization invests in real estate that meets essential social needs and remains relevant in the long term.
The focus is not on the building itself, but on the function it serves. By investing in environments that contribute to housing, well-being, and care, Rosewood is building a solid foundation for a resilient society.
Rosewood would like to thank Lone Star Real Estate for the pleasant collaboration and Winston Taylor for his professional guidance throughout the transaction process.
